I have been taking the Cenovis brand of St John's Wort and was wondering if I am taking the right amount. The bottle says that each tablet contains hypericum perforatum (St John's Wort) extract equivelent to 2g dry herb. Am I right in thinking I should been taking one a day?

No, you should take 3 of those per day. Australian extracts are usually 6:1, so 2000mg/6 = 333mg extract. These are basically the standard kind of 300mg tablets that we are all familiar with in here.
