After I stopped taking SJW for a week to alleviate intestinal pain, and switched to Kira, I now find myself about 2 1/2 weeks in - pondering and hoping. I began with 2 tablets a day, as this was my perfect regimen of Sundown, but it hasn't seemed to work at all this time around. I heard from many a helpful that taking a break or switching brands is almost like having to start over - and seeing as how I did both - I figured I was in for a bumpy ride. I recently started taking 3 tablets a day, just as if I was actually starting over and closer together.
I find myself still some feeling anxiety and negativityat the 3 week level again, nothing stressful or life altering, just annoying. I plan on giving it at least 6-8 weeks before I stop all together and go back to Sundown - I just never thought it was going to take so long to build up again.
Would anyone have any reccomendations/thoughts? I just have this bother in the back of my mind that its never going to kick in again.

I would simply reccommend that you give it the full 6 (or more) weeks to truly gauge whether it has a tangible effect or not....quite frequently on here you read about those in a siilar position to you who woke up feeling much better the next morning - it's strange but SJW seems to do that - suddenly you start to feel better and things start improving.
It can take a while to kick in again - I have experinced that from two perspectives. Firstly, last year I stopped taking it altogether but when my depression started to return and I began taking SJW for the second time it took an eternity to start working again, longer than 6 weeks which was absolutely hellish!
My second experience was actually a week ago when I stopped taking it for 7 days when I was ill with flu - it's amazing (and I definately won't do it again!) that even after that small period of time I felt extremely down again, although this sorted itself out after a few days of starting to take it again.
Keep going until the 6 week mark (trying to supplement your regime with exercise and a healthier diet) and then re-evaluate your options.
