A year ago while detoxing from Effexor XR, I was using SJW but didn't feel any real improvement of my depression. After several months I quit using it and switched to 5-HTP. The 5-HTP was a little bit better but the real benefit I saw from the 5-HTP was a decreased appetite and a significant weight loss.

For the last 6 months I've been feeling very withdrawn, anxious, and depressed. I want to keep taking the 5-HTP for the weight benefits and I've decided to give SJW another try. I hear the two products work well together. This time I am using GNC's Fingerprints brand with the 500 hypericum. I hope it works this time because I am sick of feeling the way I have been. Wish me luck.
