Has anyone experianced heightened anxiety from htp? I took one 500mg tablet this morning with my st johns wort and had the worst anxiety all day. Heart was about to beat out of my chest.

500 mgs?! That's *ten times* the usual dose of 50 mg. Why on earth did you take such a huge dose? Even 50 mg is too much for me (probably because I also take SJW and a few other supplements). I take half a capsule of 5-HTP (50mg/2=25mg) before bedtime.
