Hey, Im wanting to find out if there are several people who have made the change from lexapro to amoryn. I think this will be the final thing i need in order to be fully sold on amoryn. also, if you were on Lexapro (or celexa) and went to amoryn, how long were you on lexapro? cause i have only been on it for 3 weeks. I just want a more cost effective way cause in 6 months i wont have insurance. thanks y'all.

I was wondering how you are doing with your Amoryn? I was thinking of taking it for my depression and anxiety instead of Paxil 5mg. How much do you take and when do you take it and is it helping? Anyone else that has success stories on Amoryn please please please email me. lolobro(at)bellsouth.net

My husband left me and the kids b/c he couldn't handle this anymore and now I am alone with the kids and trying to raise them and get through this depression. It's a never ending cycle and I can't seem to break through it. I pray every day for God to help and then I came across this website. Please contact me if you have any help.

HI,I HAVE BEEN ON ZOLOFT FOR 6 MONTHS.WEENED MYSELF OF &NEEDED MUCH TO LOOSE SOME POUNDS FROM SIDE AFFECTS,SO I ORDERED CORTISLIM AND THE FUNNY THING WAS JUST BEFORE IT CAME IN I STARTED THE DEPRESION &THE HYPNOPHOBIA AGAIN!I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO,TELL MY DOC OR GO NATURAL ALTERNATIVE.BUT I WANTED TO LOOSE WEGHT SO MEANWHILE IKEPT TAKING THE CORTISLIM & 3 DAYS LATER I REALIZED I WAS FEELING GOOD AND NO PANIC ATTACTS!WOW! IT HIT ME!THE CORTISLIM IS FOR STRESS!I KEPT TAKING IT FOR A WEEK & A HALF LOST 9 LBS.AND FEELING GREAT!ITS BEEN NOW 3 WEEKS AND IM DOING GREAT BUT IM CUREIUS ABOUT AMORYN I ORDERED IT FOR MY BROTHER WHO SUFFERS FROM THE SAME THING I HAVE BUT WHO DONT NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT.BUT EVENTUALY I WONT NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT ALSO. I was on lexapro for 4 months, be careful coming off of it. I had terrible dizziness , brain zaps, blurred vision, and depression as withdrawal symptoms. I would suggest that you start tapering off now slowly, and worn your doctor that you will be stopping. I am now on Perika brand SJW and seem to be ok on it, it's been about 2 months. Good Luck.... I have heard that Amoryn is a bit pricey, why not start with a good SJW?

thanks for your sharing. im trying to taper off starting today. i went from 10 mgs. 3/4 of that pill...so whatever that is. i have to cut the pill in half and the the other half down to a quarter and those ar tiny pills. oh well. after a few days or a week...ill bring that down to half--5 mgs. and we shall see from there. I am already experiencing some dizzyness. can i ask how much lexapro you were taking?

I was taking 20 mg. I am so glad that I stopped taking it. I am very happy right now on the Perika SJW, I take 3 a day 900mg, must be working because I feel great....

thanks so much for responding. it gives me hope. I've come down from 10mg to 5 in a week. in a few days i think ill try to go down to 2.5 if i can cut the pill smaller. maybe ill just crush it and put some of the powder in a drink...its bitter though...what do you think? will that work? i still gotta call the doc. ive been so busy with work and finals at college. your reply reminds me i should call and talk to my doc bout it. Ive already made up my mind to try Amoryn and that has SJW in it. ive ordered it. so far i was only dizzy for a day and i havent seemed to have much trouble coming off of Lexapro. I appreciate your responses. have a great day!

I wondered how you have been doing on the switch from Lexpro. I have depression and anxiety and I was prescribed Lexapro and after a few days I developed a reaction to it. I now want to try Amoryn and wondered how you have been doing on it. Thank You for helping me out.

I went from 20mg to 10mg and had moderate discomfort for a week then it passed. Going from 10mg down though proved impossible for me so I got the liquid form, converted what 10mg was to how many ml using a liquid measuring device and went off 1 mg at a time over a few months. I've been off for 2 years. Thinking of starting SJW now.
