The brand is Natures Way and I think it's a top of the line brand. In clinical studies, they said this brand contained the most hyperforin. I paid the retail price for it, 14 dollars but it's a little cheaper on www.vitacost.com , &7 and change but may come to 10 dollars after they add the shipping costs. I guess if this brand doesn't work, no other brand will!

Hmmmm  It really depends on what you mean by "Nature's Way". Nature's Way makes a number of different SJW products and they seem to come from different suppliers.
The last time I looked, their premium product was Perika, which is the same thing as Movana, which is the same thing as Neuroplant (a German prescription SJW). So if the clinical studies are referring to Perika, then sure, I'll believe that. Neuroplant (and its brethren) contain a hyperforin stabiliser that helps to stop the hyperforin from degrading on the shelf.

I just have Nature's Way. Not the Perika. It's expensive so I might look into a cheaper brand like Natures Resource or Sundown.

Karla, how many pills at what stregth? I use Natures Resource and only pay $11 for 250 of the 3% standardized. Thanks, Leo

Hi Leo, The bottle contains 90 capsules with the regular strenght of 300 mg, and standardized. It's one of the most popular brands. Next time I buy them I'm going to get them at the discount price.

One thing, if your brand is working for you it might be better to stick with it if you can afford it. I have read that different brands vary in the amount and quality of the effective sjw that they deliver. So, in my case, the Nature's Resource works fine, its OK on the price, so I stick with it. Again, I think that if its working and affordable, its a LOT less expensive than ssri's so it may be worth sticking with what works. Getting a discount price is always a great idea, just make sure that its as fresh etc., Good luck, Leo
