Topic Title: eclecticherb

I have just started taking SJW. I am taking a product from the Eclectic Institute. It's fresh freeze-dried. It's called Fresh Upgrade. Someone else posted something about this brand a while back, but got no replies. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this brand. I am also curious about the difference between such freeze-dried brands and other alcohol-extracted brands. Any feeling either way about this?

It sounds like a nice idea until you realise that no-one has ever conducted clinical trials with this kind of preparation, nor has there been any lab testing.
All the successful trials have used ethanolic extracts.

Good point. I am thinking of changing to Nature's Way Perika. I like the other Nature's Way one with the extra stuff in it (5 HTP, b vitamins, and stuff) but it doesn't specify anything about hyperforin. The eclectic herb product, by the way, does specify that it has .3% hypercin and 4% hyperforin. I've been taking it for a couple weeks and don't really notice any change. I suppose I'll give it some more time. Thanks for your reply.
