Hi.. Perhaps this subject has been gone over a million times but I didn't see it listed, so I thought I'd ask:
I just came home from GNC where I purchased a bottle of their standardized SJW and a package of Full-Spectrum SJW. A couple of questions:
(1) What are people's expieriences or what have people heard about GNC as a brand, in terms of its effectivness and reliablity?
(2) I noticed that the Full Spectrum pills only contain 150mgs of Hypericum. According to the recommended dosage cited on this website that would be six pills, right? That seemed like a lot of pill taking for me, so I thought I'd go with just taking three of the 300mg standardized ones. Do any people with expirience in GNC SJW have any thoughts here?

I've never used either of them, but I've written about the GNC dosages many times. I think there is only one product type in their SJW range worth taking, and that's the Standardized.
I can't see any reason why the Full Spectrum would be any better since their supplier would be performing the same tests on the Standardized product. GNC doesn't specify what "additional tests" they do so I write that off as marketing drivel. And as you say, they are half the usual dose too!
Just to add even more confusion, GNC have started selling "Fingerprinted Ze117" tablets, which is the same Ze-117 that Max Zeller AG sells in Germany as "Remotiv". I'm personally not a big fan of Remotiv though, because its processing doesn't appear to preserve hyperforin.

Okay, well I will heed your advice and not waste my money on the Full Spectrums again. However, the fact that I have a whole package sits around now begets another question that I am pretty sure I know the anwswer to:
These pills haven't had anything done to them that would render them more potent, have they? I ask because I plan on taking two of them at a time to get my 300mpg dose just until I can use up the pack. That's not going to be too much is it?

I think you'll be safe doubling up like that. There's nothing on their website that suggests these capsules are enhanced in any other way.
