I live in Australia and the only brand of 5-htp I have been able to find is Dr Vera's Forumalitions available from www.b2bworld.com.au I received the bottle today but I'm a bit apprehensive - I'm not sure if it's really safe to be taking a brand that is not well-known and is ordered over the internet. Has anyone had ANY experience with this brand or heard of someone who has? Should I be worried?

Not sure, but I'm suprised you can get it here. When I enquired (over a year ago now) I found it wasn't available anywhere, as it is not a registered supplement here. That is, it's not banned as such, just not available to buy unless you imported it, which is what I ended up doing. Good luck with it though. I ended up having MAJOR stomach upset as a result of 5-HTP. And without meaning to put you off it or make you paranoid- as it may not happen to you- keep an eye out, if you have any stomach problems, I'd thinking of blaming the 5-HTP!
