I have been taking Perika since late December. The only side effect that I experienced was, during the first week, I had a little trouble getting to sleep. This is ironic but not uncommon, because SJW now helps me sleep peacefully through the night!
I began feeling the postive effects of Perika within two weeks and can say that it has changed my life. I suffer from borderline, low-level depression and Perika (three times a day) is the wonder medicine for me. I tried cutting back to two tablets a day, but began feeling the "old blues" again so I am back up tp three.

Yes this can happen, as it SJW won't be working for you yet after just 6 days. The anxiety of wanting it to work can add to the frustration. But please give it some time. The first few weeks are a great time to treat yourself for having started to deal with your depression, and it makes the time pass more quickly as you wait for the SJW to kick in.
Best of luck,
Kelly
