Topic Title: Break in SJW
| | "Break in SJW" , Fri 10 Mar 08:57
Hello,
I have been taking SJW for nearly a year now, and i would say it literally turned my life around. I receintly fell pregnant and was advised by my doctor to stop taking it as there is no evidence on how SJW and pregnancy mix.
I miscarried the baby.
A couple of weeks after, i started feeling the 'mist' so i started taking it again - and have even upped the dosage (as i discovered i was taking half the normal recommended amount the whole time). I would say in total i was off SJW for about 3 weeks and i can feel myself slipping back into depression. I really don't know if i can handle going back there again. Can this short a break effect me so quickly? I was feeling pretty much 'back to normal' before.
Thanks,
SpaceJed

Don't underestimate the power of your hormones! Several of my friends have miscarried (its actually more common than women speak of) and they have been seriously traumatized afterwards. They are not normally depressive types, but they were overwhelmed with sorrow. THeir doctors told them it has a lot to do with the "unused" hormmones in your body that were there for the baby, but now have no use. It can throw the body into a very depressed state.
Good luck and I hope you get through this!
