"Anyone take MORE than 900 MGs?????" , Mon 6 Mar 08:02

I am two weeks in and have been seeing positive results, but I don't feel like I am getting the full benefits. Should I wait till it continues to improve, or is there any harm in increasing the dose to 1200 mgs until things get better then lowering it. I don't get stomach aches or anything, i don't really know about photosesitivity bc its spring here and cloudy. Please any incite would be helpful and even personal experience. THANKS!!

It is possible to go higher than the 'norm' dose of 900mg per day. My doctor produced an article from a medical journal which stated that in some cases doseages of up to 1,800mg per day could (and I stress 'could') be beneficial.

I tried the higher dose for a couple of months or so (900mg had worked great for a couple of years, but the effect had started to fade quite markedly, so my doctor had suggested increasing the dose) with no real benefit. I felt that above 900mg it was a case of diminishing returns.

I'm a little bit sceptical about going over 900mg, but by all means try it. It may work for some people. Also think about other things like diet, exercise, avoiding stress, cutting down on alcohol and other lifestyle-related stuff......or even trying another brand of SJW. Research grade brands of SJW like Perika or Kira may give you more bangs for your buck.

Hope this helps.
