Is there anything herbal or over the counter that will help relax me? I am taking SJW for depression which is working, but it is not helping with anxiety, particurlarly in the late afternoon early evening. I had a lot of teeth problems last year and was given Vicodin. It was my savior. I was so energetic and happy. I only took half of a 5 mg. pill once a day, so it lasted me quite awhile. I no longer have them but want to feel that way again.

I know it is a narcotic. I know it is addictive, and I don't want more of it for that reason.

Is there anything out there that comes close to the feeling you get from a little Vicodin?

I noticed too that SJW releives depression but not anxiety, I had little time to try out Kava or Gotu Kola so ended up back on Paxil 30mg.

The other herb you can try is Valeriana Wallichill not to be confused with Valium
