Hi, I am not menopausal but I have read that st. john's wort may be helpful for the symptoms associated with menopause. A pilot study was recently conducted that showed sjw to be beneficial for women suffering from pms which is also a partially hormonal condition so it stands to reason that sjw should ease menopausal symptoms as well. But the only way to really know if it will work for you of course is to just try it. Be aware that sjw makes some people feel worse for a couple of weeks before it makes them feel better (but this is also true for synthetic antidepressants) so be sure to get a full 6 weeks of sjw in you before you evaluate its effectiveness. Best of luck and keep us posted! Samantha.
