hi i have been taking citalopram 20mg on and off for a few years, i have tried st johns wort it worked but not for long.I want to stop taking the citalpram now but when i havnt took one for a few days i get this dizzy feeling,will that go away after a while or should i see the doc? any advice is welcome thankyou dawn.

I would definitely discuss any change to your dosage with your doctor first before you proceed. For instance, do you want to come off citalopram because you feel better or because it's not working?
General advice, as with all anti-depressants would be if you want to come off them, reduce the dosage slowly over time (4-6 weeks) and see how you go.

they do work but i want to come off them to see how i feel without them, i will see my doc as soon as poss and get a lower dose thanks for the advice
