Hello my name is Tina an I hvae been on SJW fpr 3 days now but last night omg I was waking yp with panic attacks heat flashes an heart felt kinda weird is this normal just starting out am really scared. Or should I just stick with Seredyn please let me know because I was really hopinh SJW would work.TY

I never had a panic attack in my life until I took a high-hyperforin sjw product so it absolutely could be the sjw that is causing your symptoms. Don't despair though - if you stop taking the sjw, the panic symptoms should go away. Or, if you want to tough it out and keep taking it, this may only be a temporary phase as your body adjusts to the herb. Sometimes antidepressant drugs and herbs can make you feel worse before you feel better. Lastly, you could try a different, milder brand (I don't know what kind you are taking but sometimes sjw preparations with less hyperforin are better tolerated). Best of luck!

Three things come to mind. i) Did you experience anything like this before taking the SJW? ii) This is something that you need to ask your doctor about for sure, and iii) yes, I have experienced similar things to this in the past (apart from the heart stuff) with varying degrees of severity. It is scary especially at night. When it was very severe I stopped taking the SJW completely. Note this is just my experience - but I find that I react differently to the different brands of SJW. It can be about finding the one that works for you.
