I'm not sure whether anyone has noticed but the Amoryn formula has been changed. They've added Rhodiola and a tablet version had TMG (I'm not sure whether TMG is in the capsule version or not).
Have been talking the old formula for over a year with excellent results and I don't seem to be able to take the tablet version of this new formula. I'm reacting badly to it. Feel panicky, like I'm going to faint, go pale, hot etc. for 30 minutes then I feel tired and unwell for the rest of the day.
I guess that I'm either reacting badly to the Rhodiola or the TMG.
This has all happended this week. THings having gone so smoothly over the last year or so you can imagine it's been a bit of a shock & quite frustrating.
Anyway as a long shot - does anyone have or knows anyone that has any spare bottles of the old Amoryn with just the Hyperforin and 5 HTP (not the Rhodiola)? Would appreciate it if anyone did - would pay obviously.

Not sure if this helps but I just received the new Amoryn formula a week ago (in capsules) and it did have the rhodiola but didn't have TMG, and the website doesn't list TMG as one of the ingredients, so I'm thinking that TMG is not in the newer formula. Have you tried calling them? If you explain the situation you might be able to get a sample bottle to try out.
Obviously everybody reacts differently but I didn't experience any of the side effects you mentioned. The new version gives me a little more energy but other than that provides the same good consistent results (thank heavens, I really don't want to go back to how I was before I started taking Amoryn in the spring). I never had any of the tablet version with TMG so I can't really comment on its effects, but maybe your experience was just a fluke and the new version I just received would work better for you. Anyway good luck.
