Topic Title: Rollercoaster on SJW....HELP !!
| | "Rollercoaster on SJW....HELP !!" , Sat 1 Oct 02:52
Hi there I have been taking SJW for 4 months now and it seems to work well, the only problem being that I seem to have 3 weeks of peace and calm when life feels good. Then I get 4-6 days of anxiety and feeling really low, where I can't sleep properly and obviously feel tired and down in the day. Then it seems to gradually go and I feel back to normal for a further 3 weeks.
I take the Boots own brand of SJW. Can anyone help as to what I can do to stop this happening ?
Thanks for any help.

You might try increasing your dose for a couple of weeks and see if that helps. You may be close to the right dose, but not quite there yet. Good luck.

Early morning wakening is one of the symptoms many people with depression/anxiety experience. I have the same problem with waking way too early, sometimes feeling anxious. My personal experience has been that while sjw has helped with a restful quality of sleep, I still wake early, even on a dose which is working in other ways, and am ready to sleep again about the time I should be getting up. I have not found anything to help with this broken sleep pattern. It's really frustrating, seemingly both a symptom and cause. I've found things -- like getting up and doing something, exercise during the day -- that help, but nothing that cures it. Any suggestions would be welcome. On the correct dose of sjw I feel better during the day despite continued disrupted sleep. Varying your dose up or down might help -- I would guess up from what you've said -- but the only way to know is trial and error.

Do you drink alcohol shortly before the 'down' periods?

No I don't I'm pretty much tea total. I'm unsure what it is although I try not to take too many of my co-codamol pain killers as I am not sure of there interaction with SJW
