Am I really stupid to combine fluoxetine with SJW, I'm reducing my dose of fluoxetine with my doctors supervision but have tried to overlap with SJW. I also feel really ill, is it the combination or the w/d from the fluoxetine ? I just don't know. Any comments / experiences ?

It's not a very good idea. I'm not sure if that's why you feel ill, or if it's just coming off the fluoxetine that makes you feel ill. But hopefully you can transition from one to the other over just a couple of weeks, which is not too long to wait in the whole scheme of things. Try not to combine them if at all possible.

Thanks Kelly, I mentioned it to my doctor and he said to wait, so I'll do that. It was in a book by a Dr Norman Rosenhthal where I read it, I'll take your advice and try to be patient. I didn't feel quite so bad today anyway. Thanks for your help !
