Hi,

I have bought some St Johns Wort from a pharmacy. It doesn't have a lot of info on it at all/

On the packet it says '340mg Concentrated extract of hypericum perforatum' and to take one a day too with a meal

Does this sound right? I am unsure!

Unfortunately that's not enough information to know what it really contains... without knowing a % of hypericum or hyperforin, it's probably not a standardized concentration. Personally I would take somewhere between 1 to 3 a day, and when the bottle's finished by a different brand with better labeling. Are you sure there's no more information on the bottle? The vast majority of SJW out there are 300mg at 0.3%, and you'd take three a day of those...
