hi, im new here. i have recently been diagnsed with fibromylagia and have been prescribed amyltriptiline wchih i took years ago, i really dont want to take now, side effects are awful! strokeheart attack. im thinking of sjw, i have depression too. i have took seroxat,venaflaxine b4 but not now, im on asthma inhalers, thats it. thanks, aprilx

There is some evidence sjw decreases the effectiveness of asthma medications containing theophylline. You might want to check your medication, and/or check with a pharmacist, before taking sjw.
