Hi, I thought I would drop a message here regarding the GABA. I don't want to stir up any trouble :) ... but, I am not sure how well GABA works for anxiety. Based on the limited info on GABA in respect to anxiety, I don't believe it does what has been traditionally claimed.
Many people believe that GABA actually boosts GABA production in the brain, which at the time of this writing, has not been proven in any animal or human trials. In the only trial I am aware of where this was tested, GABA failed to cross the blood-brain barrier.
If however, you experience sleep difficulty or you wake up in the middle of the night as a result of anxiety, GABA may be of some benefit, as supplementation actually raises HGH levels, which have been shown to support longer sleep cycles, especially in older adults (40 and up)... (not that that is old.. but you get it).
