Hi jiroshi,
You should understand that depression itself it`s affecting your sister health, physically and emotionally. Her life`s quality improves if she`s treating it. I am depressed for a long time and decided to try SJW after withdrawal from a TCA because SJW it`s milder and not addictive. As long as I know all medicines have side effects(aspirin and vitamins included)but we need to take them when ill in order to feel better. On the other hand there are plenty of herbal remedies effectively used for centuries; any tea you drink is herbal and will have an effect on you, coffee is the same. If it`s the desired effect you may drink it as long as you want...so don`t worry. In depression is very hard to find the best remedy, the one that works; you should be happy SJW works for your sister. Dania
