My dentist has advised me to stop taking St. John's Wort if I'm taking antibiotics: evidentally, SJW negates any benefits of antibiotics, and reneders them essentially useless. This wasn't mentioned/noticed when I had a minor dental infection and had to drop in while my regular dentist wasn't there....

I have not heard anything to substantiate this, and have tried to learn as much as I could about sjw over the past few months. What is your dentist's source of information?
