I was recently diagnosed with anxiety disorder and did not want to take and prescribed med. Surfing the web for a natural approach, I fell upon Kelly's website. One week ago, I started taking 300 mg 3x a day. I can't believe how much better I feel!! I hope this is not all in my head!!
My question is: How long can I take this? Do I have to take a break at all? Can I take SJW for the rest of my life if needed?
I just read the bottle of SJW (life brand) and it says 0.3% hypericins on the front label and 1500 mg on the side label, also on the side label, from 300 mg. Bottle also states 3 tablets 3x a day.
If any one can answer these questions, please do so.
Now I'm confused.

I'm glad that the Wort is working for you. I don't think you should be worried about breaks from SJW after a week of using it,people take it for extended periods of time without any problems.
About the brand you are using, I wouldn't risk with a mysterious brand of SJW, go for a research grade one (Perika or Kira). It looks like the one you have right now is of the old kind only standardised for hypericin, now they're saying that hyperforin is the main active ingredient in SJW.
Now on the dosage issue, I don't really understand what you are saying but I'll just say that 900mg SJW a day is the minimum recommended dosage and some take more, you might want to do some research and look into it yourself.

The brand I am using is a generic from Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.
I so trust this drug store, I am not concerned about the brand, I should of mentioned that in the first email.
In regards to the break issue, I've heard that certain herbs don't work after a while and your body needs to take a break.
Any comments on the break issue?
