I am currently taking 600 mg. Perika at night and 300 mg. in the morning with no problem. Have had definite positive short term results with this. Some people here are taking 900 mg. all at night with positive results. I'd advise ramping up slowly to higher dosage -- pill splitting if necessary -- to minimize side effects and also to give yourself the opportunity to see how a specific dose is affecting you. Good luck.

Perika is a brand of Saint Johns Wort manufactured by Nature's Way, available only in health food stores and through internet sites as far as I know. It is one of the brands standardized for both hypercin and hyperforin, as opposed to hypercin alone. It is generally considered to be more energizing than some other brands, but people's reactions to various brands vary, so that may not be true for everyone.

It proably will not hurt you, but it may be a good idea to not take more than what is recommended on the bottle.
