I am courious about if you drink alchol while taking paxil if it is still in your system. also my side affects of coming off paxil are awful. I have euphora. I want off and I have no insurance. I managed to make my last prep last 3 months. I'm down to the last. My emotions have gone wild. I glad I found this sight it makes me feel like I am not alone. Also it is hard to fine the help you need when you have no money at the moment. I kinda sucks..Thanks Any suggestion would be helpful.

I drank alchol while on Paxil with no problems.
I know how you feal, I quite Paxil cold turkey and the withdraw symptoms were tough. I had a wooshing feeling that lasted about 3 1/2 weeks.
I used kava to take the edge off, along with 5-htp, and SJW. Also drink LOTS of water and green tea it will flush the Paxil out of your system faster. Good luck, You will feel better soon.

When I went off Paxil, cold-turkey also, I noticed light headedness as my main withdrawal symptom. I went jogging and a few times I felt dizzy and light-headed. I felt this wierd sort of static-electricity, I don't know how to describe it, in my brain. My eyes would also experience dimmed/blurred vision. Also, don't get too excited and yell and move around a lot. That seemed to make the light-headedness worse. It should only last about a week or two or three at worst, that's about how long I remember mine lasting. It is not at its worst right after you quit your medication... the withdrawal symptoms peak about a week or two after, then subside as quickly as they started.
