Well, I'm about to end my expensive/moderately effective run with Zoloft. I'm currently taking 100mg per day, and am starting to notice more of the negative side effects such as weight gain. The cost, as it is not covered by my health ins., is also prohibitive. (I basically suffer from mild to moderate depression and anxiety. Sort of a chicken and egg situation as to which brought/brings on which. I was orginally on Effexor, which was a SWEATY nightmare.. I know I'll be adding Kava this time around for the general anxiety.)
Anyway, could anyone tell me how they transitioned from SRRI's to SJW? Did you wait, and if so, how long? I'm more than ready to dump this Zoloft, and I'm near the end of my last refill bottle. (I have the first bottle of Perika ready to go.) Thanks!

Well I'm new to this world too....I was on Paxil for 8 years...went cold turkey to finally get off it (3 failed attempts doing it the weaning method) as I ran out and have moved from one state to another with no job or money coming in yet..so I was forced to make that decision. Needless to say, things haven't worked out yet in my new state as I've been stuck without a vehicle in my old state...so I'm completely stressed out...and bills in my new area are stackin up to the point of I'm buried...I too am like you mild depression, anxiety...well this is pushing me toward insanity as nothing seems to go right for me right now. But I started taking SJWort, and it's actually helped me a lot..I'm still a little anxious, as I should be with what I'm going through, but I'm able to get through the day and not feel lethargic or any of that...I take 3 300mg pills a day, at 4 hour intervals...and a B-12 Stress Complex pill in the morning...I was off the Paxil for a month before I started...So far I'm happy with the SJW and I'm only on day 4 I think...so that's my 2 cents...good luck....
