All of the prescription ssri's cause that weird sweating thing.
To me that may be more evidence that sjw indeed has the same modality. If it follows a similar course, the sweating should decrease the longer you take it. (for most people)

"Yes, lots of sweating." , Thu 2 Jun 22:02

Hi GeordieLady-

Yes, I too have had weird excessive sweating every day since starting SJW about two years ago. Unfortunately it has stayed, in my case. I just live with it.

Before starting SJW, I used to sweat somewhat easily, but since taking the SJW it went through the roof, particularly at night, when I shouldn't be sweating. Every night I have to cover my pillow with a towel, because otherwise the pillow will be soaked in perspiration by morning.

I do live in the tropics. However I use air-conditioning (even at night during some months) and I still sweat. When I travel to cooler, temperate countries I still sweat bricks.

I'm pretty sure that sweating is related to one's hormone system and that this is just a side-effect of SJW in some people.

Hi Hurled-

I've tried another two brands of standardized SJW so far: Nature's Resource and Puritan's Pride (which is the same product as Vitaminworld). Neither of them gave me results as good as GNC. I'm currently back on GNC. I've ordered Natural Factor's brand and when it arrives I'll be trying that, too. When I contacted the Natural Factor's company, they wrote that they check every batch for lead, cadmium, and other contaminants.
