You could try other things other than 5htp or SJW like L Theanine,Niacinimide(not niacin)or a milk peptide like Tryptozen.I've also gotten a nice calming effect from Rhodiola Rosea(Rhodax brand) and a B complex vitamin.I would also suggest trying magnesium,I've been using this lately at 800mg a day and gotten good results.But it has to be an absorbable form,the oxide form found in most multivitamins is pretty useless.I would suggest the glycinate,taurinate or citrate(the one I'm using)forms.
