Hi All I have been on Perkia for three months and want to stop using it. It has done nothing for my anxiety and as you can see from my pervious post I feel terrible at the moment like I am barely hanging on to my mind. Can i stop straight away or do i have to come off it slowly.I am also taking calmers at the moment and i feel that they are not mixing well with the perkia

I tried to stop taking kira suddenly because I felt it was not working anymore and I got increased anxiety, nerves on edge, and some disorientation when stopping too abruptly. I went back on it and these symptoms stopped. I would advise you to cut your dose down to two tablets daily and then one over one week, this will decrease the chance of side effects.

For the moment I am still on kira, I went back on it because I was too scared to take antidepressants which my doctor prescribed. Even though it is not working as well as I'd hoped, I think its a better option than antidepressants. Maybe you should try a brand which does not increase anxiety like perika. The hyperforin standerdized brands like perika and amoryn tend to increase anxiety but why not try a brand standerdized to hypercin like kira.
