I am wondering if there are any of you who consider your depression under control after long term use of sjw or other - one year or more. I am having positive effects, but far short of perfect, after changing to Perika, trying to eat a well balanced diet, trying to accomplish something every day. I have not been taking Perika long enough to know for certain how well it will work for me, but have had problems with prescription antidepressants having short lived positive effects, and if anyone has had success in long term management of symptoms would love to hear.

I have been on meds for 5 years. I have learned that they help you feel better (less crying, anxiety, better control) but they seem to be only helping on the surface. Maybe there are other things to look into (issues in your life that are the main core problem) I am sooo tired of being on meds, plus my husband and others often throw up the "stigma" of being on them. I am going to try St. John's Wart and try to focus more on my core problem. Meds cant help a bad marriage and job loss... Good Luck
