I'm not depressed but I have social anxiety. I fear of speaking infront others and very anxious around other people. I always think what other might think if speak infront of others. I feel very shy while walk around in the office.
Will SJW cure Anxiety and shyness?. I have been taking SJW which has 0.3% Hypercin. No Hyperforin. Am I taking right SJW?. Should I go for SJW which has both?.

NNeram, I also have similar problems. I have very slight depression that too when i am in social gatherings/meetings and i withdraw myself totally. People can easily notice me and probably think what is wrong with this guy. My voice gets very very low and cannot be heard even if i speak something. Also, due ot extreme anxiety, it is dificult for me talk fluently and many times i stop and get stuck while speaking which looks quite awful.
PReviously, i took effexor and it helped me a lot. This is a SNRI. I want to take SWJ and see how it reacts. From this site, i found that Kira has less sideeffects than others, but Amoryn looks promising because it is more potetnt. I will try one or the other. BUt since i am on synthroid (due to thyroid problems with hyperthyroidism), i cannot take SWJ as it causes some innteractions with the drug and makes it less effective.
You can use any of the above brands for 2 - 4 and see how it goes. Probably try Amoryn and then kira if it has sideeffects.
BTW, where are you located? i am in Austin, TX.

In my opinion, it is better to try one for atleast 2 mon and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well, probably try another. Most of these brands will have different effect for different bodies.

I take Anxietol 7 for social anxiety, and I must say it helps a lot, but since i have depression too, it doesnt take care of that problem as much. Can I ask how Effexor worked for social anxiety? I was told it only works for general anxiety and depression. How are the side effects with that? And would you say that SJW works as well as the Effexor did when it comes to social anxiety?

I tried paxil first but that didn't help. Then i tried Effexor for social anxiety/ social phobia. It helped me alot, but i had take it off because it some all weired sideeffects especially sexual. The paxil is SSRI (only increases serotonin) while Effexor is SNRI (increases both serotonin and norepinephrine neuro transmitors). So both belong to different classes.
More than a year, i didn;t take anything..now i want to try sjw but i cannot since i am on synthroid. I hve staretd taking 5-HTP from yesterday. 100mg 3 times. and let me see if it helps me or not. Already i am felling tired with the thyroid problem. That is contributing to my SA even further.
Can you tell more abt Anxietol? what are the sideeffects, if any and howlong r u using and the dosage. I would love to give it a try.

Anxietol 7 is expensive, to start off. 40 bucks a bottle, and it comes with 60 pills that you take twice a day. You can get better deals, like 120 bucks for 4....etc. A bottle lasts you a month, but I think im going to just go for SJW after this assuming it works. This stuff supposedly works on seratonin but I don't know how it works compraed to SJW and SSRI/SNRI but I can tell a difference in social anxiety between this and nothing. However I definitely am not as social as I was when I was on zoloft. It's taken 2 or 3 weeks for me to really feel the effects of this stuff, at first I didn't think it worked at all. As far as side effects..there really aren't any. I gained weight on zoloft, but now I am down to how I was before. There are no sexual side effects that I can tell, and at first I had a really hard time sleeping when I wanted to, but now it is getting better.
