What is bothering you about the lexapro? I didn't like it either. I think it made me anxious yet numb, although it did have fewer side effects for me than other AD's. SJW may help you. It contributed to my anxiety but seems to help many people in this forum. I believe it works like an MAO Inhibitor which would affect serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. Lexapro on the other hand is an SSRI and only affects serotonin, the apparent calming neurotransmitter. I guess the first step would be in determining the type of depression you have so you know which chemicals you may be lacking. SJW seems to be a good start because I believe it affects most of the chemicals involved in mood.
Good Luck.

It just makes me feel real sluggish, almost like i'm having an out of body experiance....... Dry mouth and can't dring enough water...decrease in appetite. I would rather try something more natural....

Oh, that sounds yukky. I felt really sluggish on it too and achey. Maybe SJW will work for you. I am going to give it another shot as i think the anger side effect may have been circumstancial.

I felt a little sluggisg on SJW but that lasted no more than a day. I started to take it at night as suggested. All four pills at bed time every day and I am fine :)

How long have you been on sjw, and when did you notice that you were feeling a little better.
