"hello everyone, may I join you?" , Sat 23 Apr 04:26

My fog has returned -as someone else describes it!-and I could do with a little advice.I upped my SJW yesterday to 3 a day of the one a day ie 3 x 300mg and had a rotten night feeling very sick, upset tummy and anxious dreams.Kira Ltd. told me on the phone that 3 a day for 2 weeks is OK.Wondered if anyone out there has had similar experience.By the way my foggy, tense days are always after a period of stress due to some ops. I have had to have.I know people are worse off than me but I always get tripped up, no matter how hard I try, after a stint in hospital.Life apart from these hic cups is hunky dory and it doesn't stay foggy for ever. Thanks for any help.

Hi Dippy,

I'm not sure if this will help you at all, but when I got the really bad fog, I stopped eating sugar, and white flour and it cleared up. I was taking SJW at the time too (still am) but I felt so much clearer in my head space when I quit the sugar. And oh boy, was quitting my 4-6 cans of coke a day a tough habit to break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the upset tummy, mine cleared up completely after taking SJW for about a week. I never took the whole dosage like you, I took 900 for only one day, then dropped it down. I think it might just take awhile for the seratonin in your stomach to get used to the whole deal. Once it does your upsets should clear up.

Stick with it, there is nowhere but up!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Boo
Thanks for your help, I'm very grateful. I tried that once before and it helped, but with the fog had forgotten - so thank you!Doesn't help with the grey rainy days we're having in England at the mo' but as you say it can only get better! It's that 5 o'clock in the morning jolt that get's me when I seem to feel gross and anxious, but it get's better as the day goes on. Well it has to when you have a boisterous 8 year old daughter!
Very grateful for your reply as it makes you feel less isolated with this wretched problem. Hope you are having a sunny day.
No more chocolate or bread for me then! Watch that weight fall off.(I hope!!)

Hi Dippy

I read someplace (don't ask me where )that between 3am and 5 am is when your liver is working it's hardest to eliminate toxins. So that maybe is why you wake up feeling all aarrgghhh!!!!!!! You said that you just had an operation, hope you are recovering alright from that), and I am assuming that they gave you antibiotics afterwards. If you have taken antibiotics it is always a good idea to get a good probiotic into yourself. I was on 3 courses of antibiotics this winter and that is when my depression and anxiety really flared up. After eating properly (my God that is hard to do) and getting a good probiotic as well as SJW, I can say I feel alot better!!!

I dunno, I think maybe I have wayyyyyyyy to much time on my hands. heehee, but it works for me.

We are having a beautiful day today, finally after one very very nasty winter!!!

Stay well.
