I am feeling really good since I began taking SJW about a week ago or so. I was wondering if I could lower the recommended dose now since I am feeling alot better. I started taking six pills a day. Then I moved down to four pills a day. Can I move down to taking just two pills a day or not? Also I was wondering if you are having a really bad day if it is okay to take a few extra pills to make you feel better? What are your guys thoughts on this? I find this site really helpful and check it almost everyday. Thanks again.

SJW has a cumulative effect like prozac. Lower or stop and you could blow it. It hasn't "cured" you, it is just masking the symptoms.
Best not to ruin a good thing....seriously.

I think it would be ok to experiment with the dose, and find out what works best for Your body. Personally, I started out with three Kira a day, which was too much for me, and was able to get along well with two, and sometimes even one a day. I did play around with the dose, some days taking more, some days taking less, by listening to my body and got along fine. This winter, when I felt especially down, I would take one Kira a day, and after a couple of days I would start to feel better, and then manage with one tablet every other day for awhile. Then I wouldn't take anything for awhile, until I felt I needed it again.

Hi
I started out with 3 a day. Wayyyyyyyy to much, my little system just couldn't handle it. So I dropped down to 2 a day and started feeling alot more like myself again. Because I have a really hard time of keeping track of when I started taking them (it just doesn't seem important to me to keep track of these things) anyhooooo, I am feeling so much better and for the last few days I am down to 1 a day. And there is no change, I feel just fine. I think I took 2 a day for a little over a month and a half.
I also weigh 50 kilos, so I think it would make sense for a smaller person not to be able to tolerate as much as someone who weighs 60 kilos? You think?

Actually the "more" global system is the metric system.
So how about you do the conversions yourself?

Kilos to pounds is x 2.2.
I guess it's just what a person gets used to using.

Thanks, Boo, for the conversion help! I didn't know......
And Smn18Smile, hope you are feeling better. If four tablets was working for you, maybe you could cut down to three, see how that goes for awhile, and if it goes well, then cut back to two? Remember, everyone's body reacts differently, and maybe four will be right dose for you!

I just wanted to say that I have gone down to two tablets a day and so far so good. I think that I may just take extra tablets if I know I am going to have a stressful day or if I begin to feel upset about something. Thanks again for everyones help.
