Can any women tell me if SJW as had any effect on their menstrual cycle? I seem to be not getting my usual period this month and all I've done different is start taking SJW about three weeks ago.

I have been using St John's wort for anxiety for 6,5 weeks . Fortunately there is improvement with my condition !!! But I exprience long excessive menstural flow. SJW is responsible I think...What could this cause? Is there anyone like me?? Everyone seems to complain about lack of it ????

I have the same problem, My period is usually normal; not to heavy and not to light. This is like my 2nd week and it seems to already have interferd with my period. It's light and basically non-exsistant. First time thing for me. I assume that it is do to the SJW, because it's the only medication I am taking.

Interesting to hear that someone has had the same problem. The first month I started taking SJW my period was practically non-existant. Since then every month is so light, too light. I even went to the doctor but they said nothing or did not link it to the SJW but I'm sure it was the SJW that caused it. It would be interesting to look into SJW and the menstual cycle to find out how and why it affects it.

I finally started. But it was a week late! I'm sure it was the SJW. I just hope it goes back to normal cycle soon.

SJW made my PMS symptoms worse, or at least they seemed a lot worse, maybe because I was improved for the rest of the month I noticed my symptoms worse. It seems to have made my periods very light, although they were light already, they just seem to be getting lighter and lighter. I think SJW does have an effect on the hormones.

Nope everything is normal. No reaction, hmmmmm, might be nice to take SJW and get rid of depression and periods all in one fell swoop!!!!!!
Doesn't affect me that way though.

I've read that SJW blocks the effect of birth control pills. If you are used to having birth control pills your progesterone levels are constantly high and your period is very regular. Maybe the SJW is making your hormonal levels oscilate a little bit. If it continues crazy you sould speak to your doctor about it.
