Topic Title: children using SJW

My 10 year old's Dr wanted to start her on Zoloft for ADD. I don't want to do that, so thought I'd trial her on SJW as I had used it successfully before. Has anyone else used SJW for children with ADD and if so what dosage and what was the outcome? The tablets I was given were a combination: Herbal extracts equivalent to Hypericum perfortatumherb top flower 1800 mg (standard equiv. hypericin derivatives calculated as hypericin 900 mcg) + passion flower, Gotu kola, ginko, green tea, and it says that it has 17 ug of Caffein. I was told to give her 1 tab in the morning. But according to your dosage that would be overdosing?? Would anyone advise on this one please as well as the mixes of ingredients? Should I go for plain SJW?

If you want to give your kid something for ADD without messing them up on prescription medications, read up on DMAE. Just type DMAE ADD or something like that in google.
It's an amino acid, no side effects, apparently works great, and it's cheap and available pretty much anywhere.
Just a tip

Thank you for your tip on DMAE. I have looked it up and asked my naturopath for further info. Appreciate your help.
