Hey. I lost my girlfriend a week ago and its really hit me hard. I've had some off and on depression for a while but this is bad. I'm so stressed that my heart skips beats and I have chest pains but it IS just the stress nothing too serious. THe thing is I have some St. Johns Wort but never really took it right I guess only once a day cause it never seemed to work for me. If I take all the pills at once and at night will I still have a boosted mood throughout the day?

wobblymack, different people find different dosing regimens that work for them. For me, I've been fine taking the full 900mg at night an hour or so before going to bed.

No sorry when i said all the pills at once I didn't mean the whole bottle. I meant the daily dosage of 900mg.

Sorry, misunderstood you. But you can see how I made the mistake, and you gave me a bit of a fright! You probably need to find what dosage is right for you and that may take a week or two. Sounds like you've been through a fair bit of ****, and taking pills on their own is not always enough, you may need to find someone you can trust to talk through your issues. I find that when I sit with my feelings for a bit, and perhaps talk about what I am feeling, answers can come to me and I find after about 20 minutes I begin to feel a bit better, it's something that I find useful and you may like to try it.
