I will be taking a drug test this week for a new job. I've been having difficulty sleeping this past week and I've been exausted because of it.
Last night a relative of mine gave me a pill to help me sleep. She said that she takes them all the time and that they are really safe. Well it turns out that the pill she gave me was called Xanax, which is some type of relaxing pill. I am concerned that I may fail the drug test because I took that pill. I don't do drugs and I only had one pill that she gave me. Will I fail the test?

Xanax shows up as a benzodiazapem or something like that on some drug tests, but it burns out of your system in 2-3 days. If you only took it once, wouldn't worry about it.

It turns out that I won't be tested for ninety days. So, I guess I was worried for nothing. Thanks for the replies.
