I have been feeling pretty low and my doctor says i`ve hit the menopause (my hormones are all over the place) I have tried hrt and although it has helped with the sweats it doesn`t seem to have done much else. Would sjt help me ?

I believe its pre-meno that sent me into depression at 45. I didnt realize what was going on and by the time I did I was suicidal. SJW has brought me out of depression but it does take some time to work fully. I have found my anxiety level (which I never had before pre meno) still fluxuates though with my cycle. Sam-e has helped with this.

Everyones chemical makeup is different. What works for one may or may not work for another. I would be interested to hear from others with menopausal problems and what worked for them.

It's possible because sjw increases serotonin. There has been a connection made in the medical community between low levels of estrogen causing low levels of serotonin and therefore causing depression. Check out these websites
