I was wondering what is normally the proper dosage for SJW? Or is it based on weight/height/age? I just dont want to take too much or too little. And I have read that ppl have to find their own dosage, but what concentration to ppl reccomend, like 300mg, 900 mg etc. Thank you all for the advice. Thanks for all of your help.

Hi there,
most people seem to take around 1000mg a day in whatever form, tincture (droplets in a drink) 330mg tabs or 500mg tabs, it takes a while to find whats best for you. It may be that you start taking one way and then 3 weeks down the line you change to suit i.e. I have taken 500mg twice a day (breakfast and teatime) for 3 weeks. After two weeks I noticed I was "flagging" about 4.30 ish (the half life (it is full strength for say 4 hours, then half strength for 2 hours then quarter for 1 hour etc...) of a tablet is about 9 hours)So I changed to one at breakfast then one around 3.30pm - half way through my day. This has worked for a while, but now I am going to try 330mg 3 times a day as I still think I am not quite "even" through the day. You will know what is the right way for you. Listen to your body and the way you are feeling and that will help you to decide. Most important thing is to take a good brand name and stick with it - it takes a while to get into your system. Let us know how you get on.
