It is possible to see some improvement after four weeks. Give it at least a couple more weeks -- a two month trial is commonly recommended. If you feel a higher dose could help you might try increasing your dose. Also, some people seem to have better luck with a brand standardized to hyperforin and hypercin as opposed to hypercin alone -- or vice versa. You might try an alternate brand as part of your dose and see if that makes a difference.
I'm not sure about time of day. If sjw tends to make you tired you might try taking more at night, less during the day. It's a matter of experimentation.
Change one thing at a time, if you decide to experiment, so you know what is working and what might not be.
I'm in the process trying to find a combination of timing and dose that is ideal myself. At this time am taking a higher dose in the evening (one Perika plus one hypercin standardized Wal-Mart Spring Valley)and one Perika in the morning. I'm hitting a low spot in late afternoon, and waking in the middle of the night, so am considering taking the evening Perika around noon to see what difference that might make. Overall I feel remarkably better than I did before sjw, but not quite where I want to be. I find the Spring Valley brand relaxing, Perika more energizing, but this may not hold true for others.
Hope you have improvement soon.
