I have never visited a mental health professional despite experiencing a range of symptoms for ages: oversleeping (every evening imediately after return from work); avoidance of friends and phones; weak voice quality, procrastination over virtually everything; excesive alcohol use.

I had heard about SJW and bought some last weekend. Changes occurred just a few hours after taking the first tablet...a surge in confidence- I didn't seem to fear the phone and my voice remains strong when talking on the phone; more at ease socially, a change in quality of sleep and less desire to "self-medicate" with alcohol. I am amazed. I take only 300 mg of KIRA.

That is wonderful to hear. I hope it continues to help and improve for you, and look forward to more updates.

I started a few weeks ago on St. John's Wort. It was a compromise because I didn't want to go on any wonderdrugs. I take 300mg a day of GNC Herbal Plus Standardized St. John's Wort. After a few days, I started to experience better thoughts and stuff like that. I usually take some before betime, when I wake up, or both. When I take it at bedtime, there are no bad thoughts plaguing my mind.

Due to the low doseage I give myself, there are hardly any side effects. My skin isn't sensitive to sunlight and such. Also, there are times when I don't need to take it at all since my depression isn't severe (it comes and goes).

Anyway, things are usually better now that I have it around.

Pat
