I'm so glad I found this board- I started taking st johns wort yesterday for my anxiety and mild depression, and after reading all the experiences on here I am really hoping it will work for me- i have tried all kinds of antidepressants and got nothing from them. One enquiry- how long should it take for me to feel the effects, if any? If it doesnt work I guess i will be going back to the doctor.

Stay on it for at least 6 weeks, and if you don't feel anything by then, find something else.
