I have been taking kava for about two weeks, and two days ago I switched to the calm.HTP..

the kava helped somewhat, but I decided to switch to calmHTP b/c I liked the idea of having all three to see if I could have more benefit.

I have a good amount of experience w/ SSRIs (Paxil does work well for me) but I thought I would try something new.

today I noticed symptoms similar to the early onset of SSRIs.. first I felt kinda okay for a bit of the day, where I haven't felt that way in a month.

the second one that surprised me was that music sounded a lot better, which was always the first symptom I would get when starting SSRIs..

thus far so good.. I do have a quick question. How similar are the total effects, once fully kicked in, of the herbals to SSRIs ? do you think they are exactly the same minus side effects?
By the way, I have always responded fully to SSRIs within seven days, so I hope the herbals are as quick. So far the schedule of onset seems to be about the same.
