I am so happy I found this wonderful site-through yahoo, not google. I have suffered from mild depression for most of my life. My parents didn't know. Confused laziness with low energy from depression. Always have been a very angry loner. Recently saw a psychiatrist-I wanted to talk, he only wanted to push pills. Prescribed me lexapro-which completely took away my orgasms-the only thing left that made me feel good!! Stopped that in a week. Just started taking GNC standardized SJW, 300 mgx3pills daily. Also ordered Dr. Weil's mood enhancer which is a combination of SJW and B12. Want to give the GNC a fair trial before switching. I hope the GNC is a good brand. Only 2 days now. I am very encouraged by Kelly's common sense intro. and many posts. I can't stand being in a bad mood all the time with very little interest or energy. I have allienated everybody. I want this to work so badly. Imagine you go to a Dr. to talk and instead he takes away the only thing left that gives you pleasure!

Hi Grouchyman:
Yes, GNC Standardized SJW is very good. I've been taking 3 a day for over two years with good results...It won't solve all your problems, but you'll feel a lot better and have more energy once it kicks in, which may take 4 weeks....I felt the effect on Day 7. Good luck.

Thanks for replying. It has been 2 weeks now. Nothing yet. I plan on taking the SJW for at least 6 months. If after 4 weeks it doesn't kick in, I will increase the dosage.

Grouchyman: If your current brand does not work DO NOT GIVE UP! Try another brand. I highly recommend Perika by Natures Way. It has done wonders for me. You will be fine, just give it time. Make sure you add excercise to your routine. If you have faith, put it into action. God will help you - ask and you shall receive.
