Topic Title: Finally Feeling Some Relief

It's been 5 weeks since I've began taking SJW. These last few weeks have been horrible. I've been detoxing from Effexor and going through horrible withdrawl since I began tapering on Aug 12th this year. I'm 3 weeks Effexor Free but my PMS kicked in the last 2 weeks making me extremely depressed and irritable. Feelings of doom and gloom were intense.
I finally started my period a few days ago and all those horrible feelings suddenly washed away. I don't know if it is all hormonal and the PMS finally subsided to give me the mental relief or if the SJW finally kicked in at the same time and my relief is all due to the SJW.
I hope I continue to feel this good as my next menstrual period approaches. I'm fearfull I will feel this doom & gloom depression as I felt this month. I also began taking 250mg of Magnesium in the morning since I read that a magnesium deficiency can make depression worse. My feelings of relief also began a couple days after taking the magnesium.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I hope it continues for you. Remember that some setbacks are probably normal and even if you do go through phases of feeling bad again hopefully you'll be able to pass through those phases as you have through the last one.
As Winston Churchill said - 'if you're going through hell, keep going' !
