Hi Kelly, If I recall correctly you mentioned something about becoming nauseated when taking medications or herbal remedies. My husband had this problem with a medication, and taking Gravol to combat the nausea made him fall asleep at work.
I happened to read that ginger has been tested by Nasau(sp?) for its anti-nausea properties and it was found to work better than Gravol without the sleepiness...(remember when you were a kid and Mom always gave you gingerale after you upchucked...). So I got some empty gelatin capusules from the pharamacy (not too large in size), purchased some inexpensive bulk powdered ginger from the spice section of my local grocery store, opened the capsules (your hands must be dry or the capusule will disolve), pushed the ginger in, closed the capsule and dusted off the ginger on the outside of the capsule because it will burn your throat going down. He took a capsule before his medication and it worked..he had been doing this for years. Ginger seems to be good for all kinds of things, I hear. Hope this helps someone! Cheers! Celerychucker
