Topic Title: First Kira tablet
| | "First Kira tablet" , Wed 11 Aug 19:00
Hi Kelly and everybody,
First I'd like to comment on a great website and to everybody for sharing their experiences. It is after reading through these discussions that I realize that a lot of people do share the feelings I've been having and this was a contributing factor to why I have decided to try SJW.
I've had prolonged feelings of sadness and hopelessness for over a year, I cannot seem to pull out of it. I lack the energy and I don't even feel excited about anything anymore.
Anyway, after a blistering comment from my girlfriend yesterday. I decided to do something about it and took my first Kira tablet tonite. I will continue to take this 3x a day with meals as instructed.
I will keep everyone updated on my progress. I am hopeful that this will help me recover and live more positively. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Hello all,
Thanks for the heads up and encouragement. For some reason, I slept really well last night, not really long sleep but a well rested one. I felt some tiredness during the day but for some reason I feel relatively calmer today (compared before) - But I still felt anxiety and I got agitated today - although I felt it was a notch less. Probably too soon to say yet, need more time to evaluate this could be some form of placebo effect too. Time will tell. I will keep everyone updated.
The good part is that I am not taking any other medication so that my case is not too complicated.

Hi lobo88, You will be fine taking the kira. If anything initially in my first week ,I felt more tired but i was feeling extremely tired for a long time before taking them anyway. My depression (which I hasten to add took me ages to even think it was) was characterised by low mood, extreme lethargy and sluggishness, no motivation or get up and go and perhaps to a certain degree being over sensitive and just being generally agiatated and angry, also panic and anxiety. I thought i had a medical condition as lethargy was so extreme. Well been on kiras 6 months and things have improved with anxiety/panic/depression still plan to stay on them for at least a year if not longer. I take b vitemins and fish oil too as all said to be great with depression. I get no side effects with kira so that is great
Anyway stick with it you will be fine I am sure it may take 6 weeks till you notice any improvement maybe longer. x fairy
